Chari's Mission: Nurturing Compassion, Transforming Lives

Chari strives to bridge the gap between generosity and those in need, fostering a global community driven by empathy and a shared commitment to making a difference.

Compassion as a Catalyst

At the core of our mission is a deep well of compassion. We believe in the inherent goodness of humanity and the power of kindness to create meaningful, lasting change.

Empowering Communities

We invest in education, healthcare, economic development, and environmental sustainability, striving to create self-reliant and resilient communities that can shape their own destinies.

Proud to make a difference

Believing in change. Supporting people to achieve it.

Every day, we work alongside people facing complex challenges, helping them build confidence, develop positive routines and take steps towards greater independence.

We recognise that meaningful rehabilitationtakes time. For some, progress means achieving a qualification or moving into employment. For others, it begins with feeling less isolated, rebuilding relationships or finding a sense of purpose.

Supporting the whole person

People rarely face challenges in isolation. Difficulties with housing, homelessness, mental health, drug and alcohol use, finances and family relationships can all affect someone's ability to move forward.

Through regular contact with participants and trusted relationships with local services, we're able to identify emerging needs, provide practical support and help people navigate the services available to them.

Working alongside housing providers, healthservices, drug and alcohol support organisations, Police, Probation and community partners, we help connect people with the right support at the right time.

This joined-up, wrap around approach means participants aren't left to manage complex challenges alone, helping them build greater stability and make sustained positive progress.

Developing Skills and Creating Opportunities

Education, training and practical skillsdevelopment play an important role in helping people move forward.

In 2025, TurnAround participants achieved 86 qualifications, while 19 people progressed into employment or volunteering.

Beyond formal achievements, participants develop communication skills, confidence, teamwork and a greater belief in their own abilities.

By creating opportunities to learn, contribute and succeed, we help people take positive steps towards greater independence.
